Spiral stairs for an expressive style

In the beginning of staircase construction spiral stairs mostly were constructed because of their low space requirements. These days they often can be found as large staircase constructions in generous stairwells or in foyers of representative buildings. Beside their functionality it is, above all, the expressive stairs design which plays a major role. In modern architecture spiral stairs became an important design object.
